Ways to start your electric service:
Use our online form for the following requests:
- Start service in your name after a new home purchase
- Transfer your service from an existing location to a new location
- Start service in your name at a rented house or apartment

What you will need:
- The meter number at the location
- Physical service address (911 address)
Check to see if you are in FEC's service area by checking our service area map.
- A Fayette EC representative will contact you within the next 1-2 business days.
- Fees will be discussed at that time.
- New or existing service may require that you sign Fayette EC's Application for Membership Form.
