Bank draft is the number one way to ensure your payment is made on time every month. With bank draft you specify an account and that account is automatically debited for the amount of your bill each month.

With your authorization, Fayette Electric Cooperative will draft your bill automatically from your checking account on or about the 10th of each month. You’ll still receive a copy of the bill for your records.

Find more information about Bank Draft HERE.

Works just like a bank draft, except with your credit/debit card.  Your credit card account is automatically debited for the amount of your electric bill each month on or about the 10th of the month.  We accept Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover® and American Express®.

The Average Payment Plan allows eligible residential Members to pay on a monthly basis a fixed billing rate of one-twelfth of the Member’s average annual consumption, based on your preceding 13-month's average consumption. Once a year, the Cooperative will review the sum of the thirteen payments which you would have paid and reconcile this amount to the sum of the average payments paid during the twelve months. The Cooperative will recompute the amount of the payments due for the forthcoming twelve months based on changes in your average monthly consumption.

Fayette Electric Cooperative shall offer, upon request, a deferred payment plan to any residential Member who has expressed an inability to pay all of the Member’s bill, if the Member has not been issued more than two termination notices at any time during the preceding 12 months.

The Cooperative is not required to enter into a deferred payment agreement with any Member who is lacking sufficient credit or a satisfactory history of payment for previous service when the Member has had service from FEC for not more than three months.
