In addition to working to deliver safe and reliable electric power at a competitive price while supporting the communities in which we operate, Fayette Electric Cooperative also offers safety programs to promote electric safety.

Employees from Fayette Electric Cooperative use creative approaches and assistance from the Louie the Lightning Bug video and the Electric Junction, to teach children about electricity.

Arcing Demonstration at Progressive Ag Day

The Fayette County Fairgrounds was the site of the 21st Annual Fayette County Progressive Ag Safety Day. The safety days are as fun as they are educational for the 251 Fayette County fifth grade students.

FEC Linemen Mike Proske and Justin Whited, along with Safety Coordinator Larry Sulak presented the arcing demonstration to the students attending.
