Investing in tomorrow’s leaders with scholarships for college and trade school pathways.
Fayette Electric Cooperative, Inc. is accepting applications for four $1,500 scholarships to be awarded to rural students whose parents or guardians reside full-time in the FEC service area and have an active account with FEC.
The Cooperative intends to provide a long-term, ongoing scholarship program that will assist applicants who meet the eligibility requirements listed below:
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for a Fayette Electric Cooperative Scholarship, an applicant must:
APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
If a student has been arrested or ticketed for any crime greater than a Class C misdemeanor, he/she is NOT eligible for a scholarship under this program.
If a student receives a full-ride scholarship, funds must be forfeited so that they can be awarded to another deserving scholarship applicant. (A full-ride scholarship is a type of financial aid that covers the total cost of attending college, including tuition, room and board, books, and other fees. It essentially eliminates the financial burden of college for the recipient, allowing them to focus on their studies without worrying about tuition costs or living expenses.)
The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to request verification of all information provided by the applicant if deemed necessary.
Children, siblings, and grandchildren of employees and directors of Fayette Electric Cooperative, Inc. are not eligible.
If you have any questions regarding the Scholarship Program, please contact Tracy Denton at 979-968-3181 or tracya@fayette.coop.
Fayette Electric Cooperative, Inc. is committed to not discriminate against any applicant on the grounds of race, color, marital status, religion, sex or national origin.

Two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded.
