During November and December, employees and members of Fayette Electric Cooperative are donating food items to “Fill the Bucket Truck” in their first-ever community service project.  Canned goods and other nonperishable food items (listed below) can be dropped off at Fayette EC’s office at 357 North Washington St. in La Grange. 

These items are always in demand at the AMEN food pantry: 

            saltine crackers                        fruit juice                                 evaporated milk

            mac & cheese                          canned fruit                             canned vegetables

            oatmeal, all types                    dry pinto beans                        canned tuna

            dry cereal, all types                 canned soups                           canned chicken

                                                            canned stew

Every Fayette Electric Cooperative member who makes a donation by December 13 will be entered in a drawing for a $50 bill credit, a holiday gift from FEC.  (The drawing will take place December 16).  All of the food that is collected will be taken to the AMEN food pantry in La Grange on Tuesday, December 17.
